Curse of Silence

poetic drools of starving silence

Silent Battles

My battles often happen in silence
It is when the chariots of fear are clearly heard
The banners of sorrow visible from afar
And once I hear the horn
I know it's nearly coming
The arrows of pain are soon to rain my heart
I see myself standing in the middle of the battlefield
Choosing to be still
And battle silence with silence
